EDD employs the enterprise wide use of Global Investment Technologies (Canada) Ltd (GIT) Safari application. EDD partnered with GIT to develop the all inclusive Safari; one integrated single source system for all the processes from front to middle to back office and beyond.

Collaboratively, we continue to enhance, design and develop a streamlined state of the art solution. With Safari being web based, real time, flexible and open (allowing easy interface to external systems and data) this has allowed us to tailor our offerings to our specific clients. Continued development has kept Safari on the leading edge of trading trends that it was designed to support.

Safari, in addition to all other data held by EDD for its clients, is hosted in offsite data centers adhering to the strictest external standards. The data centers we use typically have multiple redundant power grids, with diesel generators for backup upon failure, with private access for diesel trucks to refill when needed. The servers are maintained in a cooled environment, typically controlled by two wholly redundant systems. The data centers utilize multiple major Internet providers on a connectivity scheme that alternates based on the current conditions.

With this level of infrastructure, which is constantly being reviewed and updated, EDD has never been responsible for any client data loss.
